2 - Selected Poems by Vladimir Nabokov 2012 Underwhelming. I expected more from Nabokov.
3 - I Asimov Isaac Asimov 1995 The third autobio for this prolific writer. He died in 1992.
4 - The Iliad Homer 700 BC Amazing epic. Best book I read this year.
5 - A Companion to the Iliad Malcolm M. Willcock 1976 Help with the Iliad.
6 - Dark Corners Ruth Rendell 2015 Mystery. Didn't like. Her last book. Rendell died in 2015.
7 - Man's Search for Meaning Victor E. Frankl 1946 Story of his time in WWII camp. Ideas of his psychology called Logotheropy. .
8 - The Feral Detective Jonathan Lethem 2018 Mystery novel. Did not like.
9 - America - 20th Century Poetry Ed by Weimer 1973 Excellent selection of American poetry.
10 - C'mon Get Happy David Cassidy/Deffaa 1994 The story of the Partridge Family success then family problems, drugs, sex and fatal alcoholism.

11 - The Age of Anxiety   Pete Townshend  2019   Fiction by Pete Townshend of the Who.
12 - How to Read Sartre   Robert Bernasconi  2006   Didn't get too much out of this.
13 - Mason & Dixon   Thomas Pynchon  2018   A big book and a complicated tale. Typical Pynchon.
14 - Poetry Speaks   Ed by Paschen/Mosby  2001   A large book of poetry that came with 3 CDs of the poets reading many of thier own works.
15 - Tom Petty; the Biography   Warren Zanes  2015   Interesting but not compelling. Some drug abuse in the latter years
16 - The Master and the Margarita   Mikhail Bulgakov  1967   A Russian Classic. This book was the inspiration for "Sympathy for the Devil".
17 - Typography on the Web   Joseph SInclair  1999   A lot out of date on this but got some general ideas.
18 - Still Life   Louise Penny  2005   Mystery novel. Unsatisfying.
19 - Field Work   Seamus Heaney  1976   That was extremely Irish.
20 - We Never Learn: Gunk Funk 1988-2001   Eric Davidson   2010  Tons of messy garage bands.

21 - 36 Articles for the Existence of God   Rebecca Goldstein 2010   Fiction, but filled with philosophy and religion in the telling.
22 - I'm Your Man, the Life of Leonard Cohen   Sylvie Simmons 2012   Much womanizing, bouts of depression, monastic life and times of creativity.
23 - 4X1   Pierre Joris 2002   Surrealistic/Dada poems by Tristan Tsara/Rilke/Duprey/Tengour.
24 - Inventing Reality: Physics as Language   Bruce Gregory  1962   Acts as a review of modern physics which gets challenging when quantum physics is introduced.
25 - The Devils Dictionary   Ambrose Bierce 1906   Unrelentingly sarcastic. Always funny and pointed.
26 - Vanishing in the Haight   Max Tomlinson 2019   Mystery novel set in San Fran. Waste of time.
27 - Baltimore Blues   Laura Lippman  1997   Backdrop Baltimore. Not the worst ...but not worth the time either.
28 - Metropolis   Thomas Elsaesser 2000   The complicated history and influence of the 1926 film.
29 - Pale Fire   Vladimir Nabokov 1962   Not my favorite Nabokov.
30 - Postmodern American Poetry   Ed by Paul Hoover 1994   A Norton Anthology. Large and comprehensive.

31 - Seeking Air   Barbara Guest  1978   Experimental novel. Guest was a poet. Didn't get much out of it.
32 - Vladimir Nabokov: The Structure of Literary Desire   David Pickman 1982   An overview of the techniques in Lolita/Ada/Pale Fire.
33 -1000 Monuments of Genius   Christopher Person 2018   Tour through the world's architecture.
34 - Believe It or Not   Jean Monahan  1999   Just a random small press poetry book from a book sale.
35 - Keith Moon: Death of a Rock Legend   Tony Fletcher 1999   Tons of drugs and drinking on top of some mental problems. Outrageous stories.
36 - Born Standing Up   Steve Martin  2007   Story of his early stand up career.
37 - The Mechanic   Ben Mezrich 2020  Breezy novel w/ Boston backdrop serialized in the Boston Globe for two weeks.
38 - Proust   Ed by Rene Girard   1962   Critical essays. I like reading Proust, I like reading about Proust.
39 - Classic Guitars   Walter Carter Anobile  2008   Photos and stats on 367 guitars on glossy paper. Guitar porn.
40 - Sign Preceding the End of the World   Yuri Herrera 2015   There was a large cultural/mythological subtext that was unfamiliar to me.

42 - The Voyeur   Alain Robbe-Grillet 1955.   Influential avant garde novel. A suspenseful disjointed reading experience.

44 - A Multitude of Sins   Hugh Cromwell  2004   Autobio of the lead singer of the Stranglers. More interesting than most band bios.

47 - Lady in the Lake   Laura Lippman   2019   Popular author and mystery novel. Thought it was just alright.

88 - Portrait of a Lady   Henry James  1881   Found most of this contrived but got involved near the end. Did not make me want to read more James.  
89 - Baudelaire, Rimbaud and Verlaine   Ed by Joseph Bernstein 1968   Selected Poems. The light and romantic Verlaine was a relief to read after the hell bath of Baudelaire and Rimbaud..
90 - 2666   Roberto Bolano  2004   Large book. Pynchon like is some ways. Made me think. I liked it in the end.
